SpinChat

SpinChat is an initiative of Independence Australia and aims to promote the prevention and education of secondary school students about spinal cord injury. SpinChat is proudly supported by the Transport Accident Commision and secondary schools all across Victoria. Through this generous support, our SpinChat speakers can continue to ignite conversation amongst secondary school students and encourage students to consider the consequences of high risk activities and minimise the risk of injury.

Every year Independence Australia hosts a number of major events to educate the community about disability issues and raise funds to support our ongoing work.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available at all our major events, including the highly regarded Daddo Charity Golf Day and our Sector Leaders’ Conference. There are also great ways to get involved on a smaller scale, including product donations for our auctions and raffles.
