We’re a social enterprise based in Victoria, Australia, providing choices and services for people living with a disability or other personal need.
We’re committed to working collaboratively alongside people with disabilities and older people, their families and carers to plan and provide quality services and products that respond to the person’s individual needs, goals and choices.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to fully participate in life and the community, regardless of ability. Ensuring that customers have choice and control is paramount in our decision making.
Our aim is to improve the quality of lives and provide access to products, resources and encouragement that allow people to make choices to enhance their well-being and lifestyle, whether it’s in their own home, local community or in our residential facilities. We have outlined our strategy for achieving this over the next three years in our current Strategic Plan.
We have a unique social enterprise approach that leverages the sale of health care products to support our core charitable purposes. As a result, Independence Australia is the only NDIS provider in Victoria to offer both core supports and consumables to NDIS participants.
To achieve our goals we engage professionals with diverse skillsets and varied backgrounds; view our corporate snapshot to learn more about our team.
