Continuity of Support Arrangements (CoSA WA)
The CoSA WA (Continuity of Support Arrangements) funding scheme provides support for:
-
- Western Australian residents with a permanent disability who were previously receiving state-funded disability support but do not meet eligibility requirements for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Eligibility
CoSA WA assistance is available to you if you have a permanent disability and are:
-
- Under 65 years of age at the time of CoSA approval.
- Legally entitled to reside in Australia, but do not meet the NDIS residency requirements.
- Deemed eligible for Department of Communities CoSA.
- Previously covered under WANDIS funding but not eligible for the NDIS scheme.
Additionally, children aged 3 to 15 years of age with a diagnosed permanent or long-term incontinence issue not related to nocturnal bedwetting, who are declined funding under NDIS, and have a parent or legal guardian who holds a pension or health care card, can apply to Continence Product Subsidy Scheme (CPSS) administrators for consideration for CPSS as an out of policy.
A product subsidy of up to $490 per year is available.
The funding is administered by Independence Australia and is reallocated annually, after re-assessment on the Anniversary Date of the initial assessment.
