Independence Australia Group and AQA Victoria to join forces, providing an opportunity to enhance our disability service offering, broaden our impact and reinforce our shared purpose of supporting independence.
Effective 1 July 2025, AQA Victoria are merging with Independence Australia Group (IAG).
AQA has been a leader in supporting for Australians with quadriplegia and paraplegia with high physical support needs for the past 37 years. Their commitment to exceptional customer care, inclusive lived experience, and their dedicated team aligns closely with IAG’s values and guiding principles.
By combining the strengths of IAG and AQA, we will enhance our collective resilience whilst maintaining individualised services, flexibility and choices for the customers and communities we support.
We are committed to minimising any disruption to current service users and maintaining individualised services, flexibility and customer choice.
Impacted customers, staff and external partners will be kept informed as we work together to create a unified organisation that builds on our shared values, collective strengths and experience.
