Donate to Support People Living with Disability
When you donate to Independence Australia, you’re choosing to support people with disability to live confidently, with dignity and independence.
Your support allows us to step in where funding gaps occur—providing choice and support that makes a real difference in daily life for people living with a disability.
Give Once. Give Monthly. Leave a Legacy.
No matter how you choose to donate, your support creates real and lasting impact in the lives of people living with disability.
- One-time donations provide immediate support.
- Monthly donations provide stability all year round.
- Gifts in Will create a legacy of choice and independence.
Whether it’s through a monthly gift, a one-off donation, or leaving a gift in your will, every donation ensures that people with disability regain and retain their independence within an inclusive community.
How Your Donation Helps
We believe in being open about where your money goes, so you can feel confident knowing the impact of your support. Independence Australia is a registered deductible gift recipient (DGR), so every donation over $2 is also tax deductible.
One-time Donation
One-off donations enable us to continue supporting individuals and families manage the emotional and mental health impacts of living with a disability through our Psychology and Counselling services.
Regular Giving
By donating monthly your support means we can plan ahead and provide stability to those who support every day. Your donations go to our in-house services supporting people with things like personal care, household tasks, and community participation.
Gifts in Will
Gifts in will and bequests are honoured as per your wishes. Larger gifts are used how you’ve requested, while smaller gifts are thoughtfully allocated to areas of greatest need at the time. It’s a beautiful way to leave a legacy of choice and independence.
